BACKGROUND

Dr. Browdy is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with subspecialty training in Sports Medicine.  He has an interest in advanced arthroscopic techniques used to treat shoulder and knee disorders.  Dr. Browdy has done extensive research on sports related injuries and has presented his research at local, regional and national meetings.

Dr. Browdy has served as the Team Physician for the River City Rage, a member of the United Indoor Football League. He is currently the team physician for the Saint Louis SLAM, a member of the National Women’s Football Associates.  During his Sports Medicine training at the Kerlan Jobe Clinic in Los Angeles, Dr. Browdy assisted in the care of several professional and division I collegiate teams, including the: Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Sparks, Los Angeles Galaxy, Los Angeles Avengers, Anaheim Angels, Anaheim Ducks, USC Athletics and Loyola Marymount University.  He continues to serve as a local consultant for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Dr. Browdy is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.  He is also a member of Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and he is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.  He specializes in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine with an emphasis in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee.
